so i went to relay for life last nite and it was pretty cool. i felt like i was doing something to help the survivors and the families of those who didnt. there was one point in the night though where we were having like a moment of silence for those who didnt made it and all the lights were off and everyone was silient. unfortunately, it was really really windy outside and all the tents everyone decided to put up took that moment to blow over. our tent blew into another tent, this other tent blew into a group of pple and all you could see was the people running for their lives, it was like attack of the killer tents. needless to say, it was freaken hilarious and we all tried so hard to hide our laughter, but it really didnt work. i disguised my laugh into a cry bcuz like i said, it was a really serious moment. i felt so bad afterwards but still, those tents, freaken funny.

I have learned a very important lesson, even if you have a usb thingy, make sure u back up your work on another computer. i freaken lost my usb and with it, all my work includin a major project for one of my business classes. freaken sux bcuz it took me so long to do in the first place. it had incorporated excel, powerpoint and word into a presentation and its gone. i was shocked at first but i mean really, what can i do? whats the chances im going to find it. very slim. so the moral of this story is…usb thingys suk.

me and my friend went to go eat at golden corral (or however u spell it) and there was to sides to the place. i swear, no lie, the place is segregated. of course since im down wit my peeps (lol) i sit on the side with all the black people. that and because i dont want to get any dirty looks while i’m eating. (i live in huntsville btw) so me and my friend are sitting there trying to enjoy our lunch and theres a big family at the table beside us and in front of us. the family in front of us has 2 little kids. they allowed those kids to run around the place, climb on the floor and i just think, wow, my dad would have beat me if i had tried to run around a resteraunt when i was little. parents these days, i swear. but the family behind us was worst. i know technology is progressing and we have alot of cool gadgets, but just because your phone can play music does not mean that you play it outloud in public every chance u get. so as i was eating my healthy mean of broccoli and fish, i was learning how to drop it low and get it all on the floor. um no. i dont want to know how to do that when im eating. ontop of that, the service sucked. our waiter never came to refill our drinks. i now know why i dont eat at golden corral.

following my great week, i wanted to have an equaly great weekend, and i did. i went to chill wit my amiga on thursday then chilled wit my other friend on friday. we made cookies. if anyone has ever talked to me about sweets, they know that i am like in love with chocolate chip cookies. i took my parents to see the fast and the furious and that movie totally rocked. i seriously wish my car could go that fast. on sunday my frat had a social so that was the end to my very chill weekend.
